FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN
The record champions
The German record champions are at home in the Allianz Arena in Munich and at home all over the world. They also have the largest club museum in Germany there. In the Allianz Arena, the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt shows the long history of the traditional club, from its founding through the golden 70s to its current successes. The museum is located directly in the stadium. The entire history of the association is shown there with over 500 exhibits. Including jerseys, championship trophies, tickets, but also unusual things like the ball from the tightest championship final of all time. A lot of video and image material compliment the exhibition. One of the highlights is the Hall of Fame. All the legends of FC Bayern are exhibited there: from Franz Beckenbauer to Gerd Müller and Udo Lattek. There are exciting stories to be learned about each of them. Very nice: there is a hands-on program for children. For die-hard fans there is the possibility to watch their favourite club training. The training times are open to the public. As a spectator, you can experience your favourite stars up close on Säbener Straße. One or the other will manage to get an autograph there. With a lot of luck, you can even talk to the players. Since December 2020, the FC Bayern World with 3500 m² is brand new. In the immediate vicinity of Marienplatz – between the town hall and the cathedral, another milestone in the club’s history was built. The highlight is the three-story flagship fan store on 1000 square meters. This is FC Bayern’s largest fan shop to date. A Bavarian restaurant is located on the ground floor of the seven-story building, and an international restaurant has also been opened on the first floor. A must for the real fans: an overnight stay in one of the 30 rooms (based on the 30 championships) in the boutique hotel. There is also an event and meeting room on the fifth floor with a view of the towers of the Frauenkirche. This building is unique in the global football world and once again shows the pioneering role of FC Bayern.
