WELCOME TO THE TRADE FAIRS
more than 50 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies
With more than 50 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies, München Messe GmbH is one of the world’s leading exhibition companies. The leading international trade fairs in Munich are AUTOMATICA, BAU, BAUMA, electronica, EXPO REAL, IFAT, Intersolar Europe, ISPO Munich and analytica. Every year there are around 200 events and around three million visitors. This makes Messe München one of the top ten companies in the international trade fair and event sector. The exhibition grounds have been in Munich-Riem since 1998. At the beginning of 2019 it was finally expanded. With 18 pillar-free exhibition halls, there are 200,000 square meters of exhibition space and 414,000 square meters of open space. All halls are large, bright and built according to the latest technical standards. Ceiling heights between 11 and 16 meters as well as separate delivery zones make assembly and dismantling convenient for the organizers. The ICM – International Congress Center Munich is directly connected to the fair. With up to 6000 seats, around 7000 square meters of exhibition space or 3000 seats in 20 halls, it serves as an event location for international specialist congresses, annual general meetings and representative company events. The Conference Center Nord, which opened in December 2018, is a flexible location for small to medium-sized events. There are three conference halls and four conference rooms for up to 1,000 people. It is possible to connect the rooms with hall C6 or C5. Flexible partition walls can be used to create further variable room sizes. A bistro with 80 seats can also be integrated. Messe München is also represented internationally. The global network has ten subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and Africa. There are also 70 foreign representations that serve more than 128 countries. A special highlight at Messe München is the fountain from the 2006 World Cup. This can be admired when entering the exhibition grounds via the north entrance. On May 12, 2006, the fountain was inaugurated by Franz Beckenbauer, Francis Tellier, the CEO of HBS, State Minister Eberhard Sinner, Bavaria’s State Secretary for Finance Franz Meyer and Exhibition Director Manfred Wutzlhofer.
